Raghavendra, Born on 1973 in Mysore, the city of palaces and famous for a rich tradition of Carnatic classical Music in Karanataka State of India. Having contributed richly to the Carnatic Classical music at various parts of the world, feels good about his achievements and the impeccable honor that audience has bestowed upon him.

Started learning Music at an early age of seven with his mother Smt. Vishalakshi. Initially Raghavendra started learning Veena, that played an important role in the later stages of his Musical Career. He performed the first concert at the age of Ten at All India Radio, Mysore.

Becoming a Maestro in Mandolin having flawless control over the instrument as well as the Classical Music was no ordinary challenge for him. “I still remember the days, when I used to practice twelve to sixteen hours a day”, he remembers his childhood. Regardless of the waves that he has swam through and difficulties and challenges at various levels, feels “great by the grace of god and blessings of my parents”.

Restless practice sessions, continuous projects on new innovations in newer tunes and techniques have kept him busy. “I would love to teach my students whenever I get time, but only those who would like to take it up seriously”, expresses his ambition and commitment in imparting the knowledge to the prosperity.

"Practice, by which man can achieve any goals and reach dizzy heights"  the sentence he repeats quite often with the upcoming youngsters and to his students all over the world.
